05.08.2014, tap @ Søgaards Bryghus:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is strange, slightly sweet sour-ish, dried fruits, sour berries, strawberry jam, caramel malts, rhubarb, grass. Taste is likewise, sweet sour-ish and at the same time dry grassy, dried fruits, strawberry jam, grass, caramel malts, hay, weeds. Medium bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Just weird...

On tap at the brewpub. It pours a mostly clear body, copper in color and with a finger thick off white to light beige head. There’s a light buttery touch in the aroma, but it’s mostly toasted and toffeeish. Some prunes and sultan raisins. There’s a nice bitterness in the flavor, it’s quite dry and with a pleasant carbonation level. Medium to full body. Toffee and toast and some dried fruits. Lasting toasted and toffeeish finish, dry and bitter. Pretty decent thus one, and also tasteful, but it needs some food. 140803
