330 ml bottle. Pours dark red with some foam. Really red, quite clear. Aroma has some light caramel, green apples. Taste is quite flavourful, has some dried plums, some bittering hops, citric lemon peels. Has more layers than I thought, not bad at all for the style which is normally not my favourite. Drying the mouth a bit, lingering for long.

Draught @ the brewpub
Aroma is rather bready with malt and some roasted tones. Also hints of coffee and nuts. There’s also a slight sour aroma close to Koulu house aroma. Flavour is also rather bready with malty tones, some sourish notes and nuts. Also hints of milk chocolate. Starts to feel a bit sticky and syrupy after some sips. Bready and almost contaminated.

Tap@Kochi Ait Dark clear nut brown color, tiny brown head. Sweetish aroma with some burned malts. Maybe even some vegetables lurking. Light-bodied but ok palate. Front is a bit caramelly, light toastyness. Some unfermented sugars make this a bit "unclean".

25cl on tap at the brewpub. Clear, deep amber with an almost nonexistent head. Weak malty and caramely aroma with fairly strong notes of metal. Slightly strange, but less sweet than expected and a fairly balanced bitterness. Not the best, but still drinkable.

(Keg at Kochi Ait Trahter, 20130703) The beer poured ruby red and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had caramell, malts and mildly grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramell, roasted malts, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was a bit harsh, malty and bitter. A nice malty brew.
