Søgaards 010315. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, licorice. Flavour is butterscotsch, sugar, caramel, hop, chocolate, rye, licorice, roasted malt, dried fruits. Ordinary beer.

On tap at the brewpub. A clear dark brown beer with a small, light beige head. The aroma is quite roasted, with a lot of licorice. Some dried fruits too. It is very soft on the palate, too soft I think, with a medium body fullness. Dryish. Prunes, raisins, licorice and a roasted note in the flavor. Hints of rye. Pleasant bitterness too. Lasting finish with roasted malts and dried fruits. A decent one, with too little carbonation. 150301
