On tap at the brewpub. It pours an almost clear one, pale golden in color, with a dense, white head. Curtains. Citrusy, piney nose with pale malts and butterscotch. It is quite bitter in the mouth, with butterscotchy malts, pine cones and grass. Rather thin on the palate, with a soft carbonation. Quite dry. Lasting bitter finish with some butterscotch and a metallic touch. Pity about the diacetyl, else it is a fine brew, although not very kölsch-ish. 150301

Draft. A hazy yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and malt, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Very clean with a high drinkability.
