On tap at the brewpub. A lightly hazy dark brown beer with a dense, finger thick beige head. The aroma is roasted and nutty, with a good dash of citrusy, piney hops. Some toffee and nuts in the flavor, caramel hints, roasted malts and citrusy, piney hops in the flavor. Quite a lot of bitterness too. Full body, quite dry and soft on the palate. Lasting roasted finish with the hops dominating. Sure a fine brown ale, love the American citrusy hop pellets flavor in the very end. 141219
