A luxurious vanilla stout aged for 36 months on heavenly bourbon barrels with added vanilla and single origin cocoa nibs from the Dominican Republic. Mmmm!
We took our beer, Very Vanilla, an outrageously huge imperial stout from our Mega-series. A beer packed with a complex combo of all the dark malts you love, giving a chocolaty, sweet, fruity, and slightly roasted aroma and taste. A beer with luxurious amounts of Madagascar vanilla, adding layers of sensations to this candy for grown-ups. Then, we let that beer age in freshly emptied Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. For 36 months!
After emptying the beer from the barrels, we added even more vanilla, and we let it sit on newly roasted and grounded Standout Chocolate Dominican Republic single-origin cocoa nibs. Oh, those lovely nibs!
The result? This is our most exclusive, elaborate, and excessive beer to date. Liquid chocolate for all your saucy needs. A beverage for all the senses, one delicate sip at a time. This truly is Lyx in every meaning of the word. Luxury!

Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2024, Friday. A dark reddish brown beer. Aroma and Taste of bourbon, vanilla, toffee, very sweet. Good.

Sample at Billie's Craft Beer Fest, Antwerp 2024-11-08. Black with aroma of chocolate, vanilla, ice cream and cocoa nibs. Very sweet, light bitter and light salty. Reminds me of Flying Monkey's Chocolate Manifesto.

Pours black, no head. Scent is full, chocolate stout. Taste is full, sweet, vanilla and cocoa - both are clear. Barrels a bit pushed back, but providing (quite high) boozyness. Very nice !

Can (from Systembolaget Strömpilen, Umeå, thanks Jojo!). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, chocolaty, some mild toffee, vanilla and some After Eight. Flavour is a bit boozy with chocolate, some liquorice, fudge and mild vanilla. Really long sweetish fudgey aftertaste. The fudgey stuff won my heart. Completely. Most fudgey thing I've put in my mouth apart from real fudge.

Svart med tynt brunt skum. Lukter alkohol, vanilje, sjokolade og trevirke. Fyldig og myk i munnfølelse. Smaker røstet malt, alkohol, sjokolade. En godsak med mye alkohol.

Burk i hemmet. Viktigt är Qvanten inte ser denna recension då han ledsen inte vara med. . Jo här har vi doft av tung choklad likt Kalle i fabriken nånting? Sen klunkar jag åh Jääääävlar vad fin choklad krämar sig i munnen ihop med fin fin bourbon. Härrejävlar så god relativt söt dessert imp stout. Slår ut mååånga Omnipollo stout men är den bättte än The bruery bourbon stouts ? Kanske 🤔. Nu är jag tillbaka efter ringt olika nördar och även druckit ur det sista. Ja den är i topp md de bästa the bruery. Bra jobbat igen Dugges.

Can thanks to my bro. It pours like motor oil - darkest brown to black with a limited brown cap. The aroma is rich roasted malt, dark and decadent, coffee grounds, dark chocolate, plenty of vanilla, toasted coconut, rocky road, plenty of bourbon, bourbon soaked oak, some umami, burnt toast and liquorice allsorts. The taste is slick, oily, thick, some bitterness, umami, liquorice, charred oak, dark roasted malt, cacao nibs, dark chocolate, deep vanilla character, dedicated coconut, plenty of bourbon, bourbon soaked oak, tannin, burnt toast, some spice and warming alcohol boost. Full body, fine carbonation and slick mouth feel. I had feared this would be too sweet, but it's not. That big warming vibes balances things out. Fun.
