From tap at Mi2 at Cardinal 27.02.17. Muddy brown. Pale brown head. Aroma of slightly harsh coffee beans and bark. Taste is better, with vanilla and coffee. Evident pine bitterness. A bit thin.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Dark brown colour, small beige head. Moderately roasty, woody and ashy aroma, hints of roast nuts and cold coffee. The flavour is rather dry, with moderate notes of coffee, some hints of fruit and nuts. Drinkable, but did not blow my socks off.

Mørk brun med fingerhøyt beige skum. Mochalukten er der, kaffebønner og kakaopulver. Middels pluss i fylde. Kakao og kaffe i smak også, noe nøtter og lett karamell og kandis. Kort

On tap at Kick. A brown beer with a small dark beige head. Lots of coffee on the nose, with coffee, roasted malts, dark chocolate and some licorice hints. It’s quite dry on the palate, yet with some residual sweetness. Pleasant soft carbonation. Cocoa, coffee, dark chocolate and some bitterness in the mouth. Wouldn’t mind some more bitterness and carbonation though. Long finish. A pleasant one indeed, but perhaps a tad too gentle. 161220
