Based on a pale, lightly hopped wheat beer, the refreshingly crisp fruitiness, aroma and rich colour come from the addition of fresh raspberry puree during maturation. Balancing tartness with sweetness, on its own it is a delicious aperitif, as well being as a great partner for goat’s cheese, rich pate or anything chocolatey.

Bottle from Sainsburys Kidlington 26-05-06. A pale washed out hazy pink colour, aroma is of Raspberries but not too strong. Tasted softer than I thought but there was a slightly sour edge to it and quite enjoyable.

Cloudy amber color. Dry aroma, artificial. Some residual sweetness, bad beer with some raspberries (real?); some astringency at the end. Below average, but not as bad as commercial fruit beers.

330ml bottle from Sainsburys. Pinky orange colour with a little white head. Smokey bacon and sour raspberry aromas. Quite sour and sharp. Sour in mouth but almost a cane sugary sweetness. Finish is raspberry sour. Interesting

A hazy pink beer with a fine white head. The aroma is simple - only containing raspberries. The flavor is sour from the wheat combined with sweetness from the raspberries.
