Based on a pale, lightly hopped wheat beer, the refreshingly crisp fruitiness, aroma and rich colour come from the addition of fresh raspberry puree during maturation. Balancing tartness with sweetness, on its own it is a delicious aperitif, as well being as a great partner for goat’s cheese, rich pate or anything chocolatey.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Simple wheat beer. Very very frothy! Pronounced raspberry dominates. Not much else going on but good.

Hazy golden coloured body with a ruby tint and a fast-fading largish tan head. Aroma of raspberries, malt, wheat and a bit of icing sugar. Light-bodied; Sharp acidic taste with raspberries, yeast and some malt noticeable - not much else. Aftertaste shows little - more raspberries than anything else, but some sugars are also palpable. Overall, a decent beer - nothing special at all though! I’m happy to have sampled it, but I wish I got something better - at least I got to split this with my girlfriend! I sampled this 330 mL wide-bottomed bottle, purchased at the Utobeer Market Stall in Borough Market, Borough, London, England on 12-March-2008 to celebrate Chelsea winning 6-1 earlier in the day.

Have a light red color and unclear apperance. The aroma is offcourse raspberry and the flavor is also only raspberries with a sour touch. Feel like it is more wine than beer.

Draft at The Greenwich Union. Strong smell of wheat beer, backed by raspberry nuances. Hazy golden amber color with a thin white head. Starts with wheat, but raspberry shows up at once; a trace of hefeweizen banana. The finish is dry with bitterness from the hop, and arguably the raspberry.
