Draught @ Søgaard Bryghus, Aalborg
Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of sweet red apples, green apples, sulfur and yeast. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light sour with a long sweet apple and a light tart finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft. I’m not a big fan of ciders and this was to sweet for my taste.

On tap at the brewpub. An unclear pale yellow drink with a small white head. Apple dominated aroma with something pale fruity beer-ish in the back. Some grass. It’s dry and pleasantly carbonated, with fruityness. Bready hints in the back of the flavor, with apples and a generic fruityness up front. Long finish. Not my kind of drink, but it’s refreshing and interesting anyway. 160423

Søgaard Bryghus 130416. Golden colour with a small white bubbles. Aroma is sourness, apple. Flavour is apple, sourness, malt, mature apple. OK easy drinkable cider.
