Søgaards Bryghus 160116. Amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is butterscotsch, malt, hop, pine. Flavour is hint of butterscotsch, malt, hop, pine, caramel, apple. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

On tap at the brewpub. A hazy amber colored beer with a small, dense, light beige head. The aroma is lightly butterscotchy, with dried fruits and toffee. Some baked apples. It’s quite bitter on the palate, with a faint butterscotch note, dried fruits and toffee flavors. Medium to full body, perhaps a tad heavy on the carbonation. Long fruity finish with toffee and butterscotch. Decent, nothing more. Too much butterscotch. 160116
