On tap at Ølfestivalen, Nærbø. A lightly hazy dark golden colored beer topped by a small, dense, off-white head. Some lacing. The aroma is rather malty, with a fruity touch. Nothing spiced going on really, so I guess they used pumpkins, not just pumpkin pie spices. There’s a light fruity acidity in the mouth, it’s dry, medium bodied and nicely carbonated, with a mostly malty flavor. Some unusual fruityness too, rather low on bitterness. Well, not my cup of tea, but it’s far from a bad attempt on a pumpkin beer. 151017

From tap at Ølfestivalen Nærbø 16.10.15 with ABE and OGJ. Hazy golden. Diminishing off-white head. Moderate aroma, with some green apples and sweets. Lots of artificial sweet in taste, as well as cinnamon chewing gum. And green apples. Not good.
