On tap at the brewpub. As Oatmeal Stout. Dark brown body topped by a low, beige head soon diminished. Roasted and burnt malts, chocolate and coffee in the aroma. Rather roasted kind of bitterness in the flavor, not really anything hoppy going on, with roasted and burnt malts doing the heavy work. Chocolate and coffee filling in. It’s dry and burnt on the palate, full to medium bodied. Probably my favorite of the four available on my visit. 151005

Draught @ Bryggeriet, Bergen
Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, licorice and hint of coffee. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long roasted and chocolate finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

04.09.2015, tap @ Bryggeriet:
Tiny shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry and rich, licorice, grass, dark malts, dark sugar. Taste is very watery, weeds, hay, dark malts, grass, sour caramel, licorice. Little bitterness, very watery mouthfeel. Boring!
