At the Belgrade-Serbia tasting on 31/10/2015. Vintage 2013 bottle purchased in Rome-Italy at Johnny Off L. beer store. Pours black, little ivory lacing. Nose: green apples juicy pulp, English classic Old ale character, some red fruit, wood. Nice! Mouth: a very balanced and clean vintage old ale. Green apple skin, burnt malts, English elegant malty notes. Unique!

Bottle at Birratrovo, Como
Black color with generous beige head. Mild aroma of roasted malts, light yeast. Good body strength, the roasted malt flavor is not strong, some chocolate, and light fruity/acidic touch; correct bitterness; nutty finish.

Bottled@PBF IX. More or less black ccolour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice some alcohol and mild spices. Flavour is liquorice, alcohol, some metallic (bloody) notes. I did like what this was going to be, but not what it turned out to be (from the aroma pow).

650ml bottle @ PBF IX

Pours dark brown, almost black with a smooth head. Aroma of nutty malts, berries, wood, ripe fruits and syrup. Taste is sweetish, malty and woody with notes of ripe fruits, berries and syrup. Finish is stuffy and malty with some wood and berries. Okay.

Bottle 660ml (PBF IX)
Dark brown color, small brown head. Slightly earthy, licorice aroma. Medium-bodied. Licorice, earthy flavors. A bit sweet in the finish. Suprisingly strong cellar flavor. Disappointing.

66cl bottle @ PBF Ⅸ
Aroma is sweet with some bourbon tones and vanilla. Feels quite light. Flavour is odd with urinal cake, some sourness and citrus, Feels thin for this ABV - and I’d expect a beer with this name to be more rich. Now this feels just straightforward bourbon juice with some root beer tones.
