(Keg at Valmiermuiža bar,  20170105) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had molasses, metal and caramel of which the metal was very dominating. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, grass, caramel and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty and bitter. A brew with unpleasant aroma and decent taste.

50cl bottle at Drink Baar, Tallinn. Pours deep copper with an off-white head. Caramely and malty aroma with notes of dried fruits and hints of spices. Sweet with warming alcohol and a light bitterness. Quite okay winter warmer, but a bit too sweet.

A 500ml bottle, 7.0 % abv, kindly shared by Elisabeth and Stefan. Fading fawn-coloured head. Poor lacing. Clear, reddish-brown coloured body. Dried fruity aroma, hints of smoked malts. Jam-like taste character, caramel and mid-tart fruits. Dry and semi-sweet ending. Soft in the mouth. Likable without greater excitements. Strange kind of a Baltic Porter (session in Tårnrommet, Tromsø 09.01.2014).
