Bottle from Good Spirits Glasgow and drunk at home. Hazy orange gold colour with a lasting white head. Certainly very hoppy and fresh on the aroma. Tangerine and grapefruit. Yes that is a lovely English American Pale Ale. Malts are there but not too dominant but this is all about the citrus hops that sing all over this beer. It’s lovely. Would love to drink this in top notch condition on cask as I bet it’s cracking. Good beer.

Cask at St Albans beer shop, St Albans, Herts. A golden coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Hoppy, fruity, honey aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, fruity, some honey. A little thin but fine.

Cask. Tapped, Leeds. Clear gold. Thick, dense, lasting, sticky, white head. Looks the beans. Good balance of chewy malts, and grassy hop. Light, tropical fruit. Drinks much the same, with a creamy, airy mouthfeel. Finishes light bitter, with a pleasant sweetness on the lips. Cask beer at its best.

Botttle at home split with Sarah picked up from brewdog online. Aroma is slightly odd, grains, some bairds vanilla custard and a little caramel malts. Hops are subdued on the nose with some grassy and medicinal qualities. Mostly clear golden coloured pour with a smooth white cap. A light haze. Flavour is grainy malts, with a little cereal swetness, hops are light burnt grass, medicinal with background notes of tropical fruits. Palate is medium full, semi-sweet, moderate carbonation. Well rounded and pretty drinkable.

Amber, hazy.big hop nose, fresh, seabreeze, fruity, the palate is rich with hops, but the pale malts are light and clean. Brew this good it’s hard to believe it’s from the highlands.

Bottled. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized quite longlasting head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is some tropical fruits, nectar, a bit berryih along with some herbal notes too. Flavour is fruity, nectary, a bit resiny and wooden along with some spruce and pine to it as well. Mild maltiness, considering this is still somewhat "strong".
