Cask halfpint at The Grill, Aberdeen. Pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of citrussy hops. Citrussy flavour too, some tropical fruits. The bitterness could be firmer.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks zvikar. Hazy yellow. Cardboard, stale fruity hops, minerals, sweetish, bitterish finish.

330ml bottle: BB 25th Feb 2018. Poured into a Leffe badged chalice at home on 14th July 2017, my fifth beer in a random tasting session with myself. Light amber/golden body, swiftly fading white head. Tropical fruit esters dominate the nose, orange and mango being the main players. Taste has a light malty front, before the citrusy tropical fruits take over and rule the flavour. The beer grew on me, thought it was going to be another boring citrusy golden ale, this is much more than that.

From 33cl bottle. Pours rather hazy orange gold with white foam, fine. Aroma is citrus but also white pulp fruit like apricot and peach, maybe some tropical fruit feeling as well. Body is average with intense carbonation. Taste is sweet at first, like fruits, but with good bitterness immediately after. Finish is average.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a small creamy head. Strongish tasting in its hoppy character, with a good fruitiness available too.

Bottle from Good Spirits Glasgow and drunk at home. Hazy orange gold colour with a lasting white head. Certainly very hoppy and fresh on the aroma. Tangerine and grapefruit. Yes that is a lovely English American Pale Ale. Malts are there but not too dominant but this is all about the citrus hops that sing all over this beer. It’s lovely. Would love to drink this in top notch condition on cask as I bet it’s cracking. Good beer.
