American styled India Pale Ale that is big, resinous and stoked with amazing fresh hops. Copper coloured with a strong malt body and alcohol content allows us to lash hops at it and create a beer worth sending on a stormy voyage.
Malts: Maris Otter, Munich, Crystal, Wheat

Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized slightly off-white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is herbal, quite nicely fruity and berryish along with some mild honey and toffee to it as well. Flavour is a bit berryish, some spruce, pine, mild grass, fruity and floral notes as well as some sweet malts and toffee as well. Fresh!

Bottled 500ml (AbM, BB 07/2014)
Amber color, steady medium-sized head. Strong gooseberry bush aroma, kind of Sorachi Ace feeling. Medium-bodied. Similar gooseberry in the flavor, resiny with some fruityness and pine needles. A bit this and that. For this ABV has reasonably nice drinkably and has nice malt profile too.

500 ml bottle from Tallinna Kaubamaja Toidumaailm. Pours beautifully amber with a relatively small head. Aroma is quite strong for an IPA that is not double. It has resinous pine-needles, and some fruits coming from a strong malt base. Taste confirms the richness of malt character, together with oily resins, and some slight hop skunkiness - that actually contributes to the final taste sensation. Whereas aroma is quite fresh, then taste has some "older" characteristics, resembling even a bit of a dry and excessively hopped apple cider. Mouthfeel is nice and solid with bitter hops determining the aftertaste qualities. Very nice example of an IPA that is perfectly executed.

0,5L bottle BB 12.08.14. Pours clear copper with nice white head. The head stays for a while. Aroma intense is grapefruit, malt, pine and sweetness. Taste is intense resin, pine, caramel, grapefruit, and grass. Finish is grapefruit bitter with some caramel sweetness. Overall: just solid IPA.

50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 12.08.2014
Aroma is rather nice with hops, fruits, some pine needles and resin. Flavour has resin, some caramel, woody tones and fruits. Also some pineapple and hints of biscuits. Finishes with some lingering hops and a feeling of alcohol. Good.

500ml bottle. Not fully clear, amber colour with average, thick, cremay, fairly lasting, well lacing, off-white head. Piney, resinous, hoppy aroma, notes of red berries, a floral touch, caramel malty background, like a walk with coniferous woodland on one side and a wildflower meadow on the other. Taste is dry hoppy, minimally piney, caramel malty basis with a nuttily touch, dry, minimally chalky and mineral finish. Superb nose, slightly restricted in taste.

BBE 03 Jul 14 - Pours dark orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of caramely malts, resinous hops, nutty notes, hints of exotic fruits and berries. Taste is smooth, malty and resinous with loads of exotic fruity hoppiness, nutty notes and hints of berries. Finish is long lasting, juicy, tangy and bitter with notes of exotic fruits, caramely malts, nutty notes, toffee and lingering bitterness. Smooth but heavy, sweetish and bitter malty IPA. Quite nice actually.

Clear amber beer with a good pale cream coloured head. Palate is softish but peppered with fine stinging carbonation. Sweet lactose malt and a little thin cream. Orangey citric hops, lesser tangerine and peel. Finishes smooth and semi dry. Nice backend but as with a lot of Cromarty beers itβs a touch on the sweet side for the style.

Keg at Hanging Bat, Edinburgh. Clear amber colour, thin white foam head and aroma of malt caramel balanced with ctrusy hoppy notes. Taste is sweetish crystal malt & caramel, with tropical fruit mango and grapefruit bitterness with some pine notes. Slightly oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable IPA.
