Imperial Ale is a top-fermented beer with a rich flavour bouquet. There is a perfect balance between the delicious bitter taste of hops and the sweetness of malt. The copper colour that characterizes the best ales adds a respectability referring to its imperial past.

bottle @supermarket (budapest) amber colour, normal body, average carbonated, taste like wheatbeer at first gulp, bitterness, fruity, hoppy, bready, interesting mixture, okay it’s kind of ale, but I don’t understood why ’imperial’

33cl bottle pours a mostly clear, dark gold with some sticky, white head. Big sugary nose, like an under fermented saison, honey, some muddled spice. Flavor is sweet, bubblegum, coriander, honey, mild cake. Sweet finish. Meh.

Szép tükörtiszta, borostyán színű. Alapvetően lágeres, sajnos határozottan olajos, élesztős íz, ami utóízében is megmarad. Ez bizony nem tesz neki jót. Még az illatában is érezni. Minden kortyban van valami furcsa íz, ami ugyan gyorsan elmúlik, de nagyon kellemetlen.

Bottle, medium stable and a bit stiff bubbly head, clear bronze color, aroma of yeast, vanilla and some wort, flavor of biscuit and fruit, quite sweet, light bitterness. Not good.

Bottle shared at Ariel’s place. Clear golden. Aroma of wort, caramel, honey, graininess. Sweetish flavor of wort, graininess, caramel, a honey note, and a slightly bitterish finish. Light to medium-bodied, slightly sticky.

Ambar, cobriza, de escasa espuma. Aroma dulce y tostado. En boca, cuerpo ligero y gas medio, y una rica base de caramelo, y recuerdo de té y manzana roja. Predominio claramente dulce. No es redonda, le falta equilibrio y cuerpo, y puede resultar cansina pero el sabor es agradable.

400ml bottle. Deep amber colored with a thick white head. Sweet ripe fruits in aroma, sweet malt. Mild toffee notes. Flavor has sweet malt, mild hops, caramel. Quite sweet finish, round, smooth. Medium carbonation. Better than I expected actually.
