On tap at Nøgne Ø. It's an unclear, orange colored beer with a small off-white head. Some lacing, but a bit hard to decide when drinking from a plastic glass. Hop forward aroma with pine cones, citrus zest and peach, even some grass, with the malts quite well hidden. In retrospect, I noticed the alcohol less in this than in Spectral Haze which is more or less the same beer, just the hops being different I'm told. It's sort of sweet on the palate, yet not, with a good bitterness dealing with the sugars. Pine cones, resins and citrus zest, even a light malty note in the flavor. Long hop forward finish. A good beer indeed, but judging from what I was told about it just after brewing I'd expect more. Still, I feel a bit harsh when awarding 3.6 only, I was sniffing at 3.7, even thinking at 3.8 at first. 170429

Hazed deep golden color with a fine white head. Good lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and an average carbonation level. A bit unbalanced sweetness. Fruity(dried fruit), grassy, grapefruit hoppy and some pine in the flavor.
