Bottle, at Nærbø Ølfestival 2017. An unclear brown colored beer with a beige head. Caramel, raisin, prunes, some dark sugar and leather, vague hints of fresh fruits and a pleasant light vinegar-ish sourish touch. It’s medium to full-bodied, I’d prefer a bit more body actually, it’s smooth on the palate, and dry, with a soft carbonation. Caramel, dark dried fruits, some berries and dark sugar, with hints of bread and leathery funk and sourness. The dark sugar flavor doesn’t include the sweetness from the sugar. Lasting finish with caramel, dark dried fruits and a nice sourness. A really pleasant one. 171021

ØL festivalen Nærbø 2017. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is sourness, cherries, marzipan. Flavor is sourness, sugar, berries, marzipan, candis sugar, malt, funk, cherries, dried fruit. .Full body. Very nice beer.

Bottle at home. Unclear dark brown color with beige head. Somewhat carbonated. The aroma is characterized by dried fruit, soy sauce, forest floor, game meat and red wine vinegar. Somewhat sour taste with tones of red wine vinegar, oak, woodland and prunes. Hint of smoke. Have a smooth mouthfeel, medium body and light bitterness. A great edition of a Flamish brown. More on the sour side compared to the style, but balanced nevertheless. A good food beer.

From bottle at Ølfestivalen, Nærbø, 20.10.17. Clear brown. Beige head. Sour berries, cherries, malt and marzipan in aroma. Similar taste. Dry and refreshing!
