YG 020721. Deep golden color with no head. Aroma is pear, alcohol. Flavor is pear, alcohol, sugar, wood, cellar notes, grass, sugar. Wow delicious.

Bottle, 375ml. A lightly oily pour reveals an almost clear, deep golden in color and still. The aroma is quite complex and heavy, still rather gentle, with the alcohol well masked. There's lots of sweet fruityness, some grass and fryity sourness, autumn orchard, pear cores, hinrs of wood and cellar, and of course quite a lot of nice pears. It's full-bodied and oily, lightly warming and with quite a lot of sweetness, some sourness showing up after a while. The flavor too has the alcohol well masked, with more concentrated fruit juice than suggested by the aroma, white sugar notes, wood, pear core, grass, some fig hints and a spiced touch. Everlasting sweet finish with lots of fruit and a good dash of alcohol warmth, and of course lots of minor flavor components just like in the initial flavor. A delicious one when fridge cold, but it needs some more temperature to show all it has to offer. 210704
