On tap at the brewpub. A slightly hazy amber colored beer with a small short-lived beige head. Nuts, caramel and some bread in the aroma, along with fruityness, some dried apricot and a phenolic hing. It's more or less full-bodied, semi-sweet, with a rather heavy carbonation. Still pretty decent mouthfeel though. The flavor is more on the toffee-ish side than the caramel side, with more phenols. Bread, nuts and dried apricots chime in. Lasting finish. A bit phenolic this one, but sure drinkable. 190607

Scotch ale is normally not my cup of beer. But this one is easy to recommend. I`ll gladly have another one Murky brown body with a tan head. Ok lacing Bready and roast in the aroma with a fine intensity Balanced sweetness. Bready, roast and toffee in the flavor. [On tap @ source]
