25.07.2023, 0,75l bottle @ apartment in Jastrzębie-Zdrój:
A still cider opening with a fizz and pouring a big fizzy longlasting head, slightly cloudy light yellow-ish color. Aroma is slightly dry fruity, apple peel, grass, bark, minerals, unripe apples, leafs, flowers, alcohol. Taste is dry sour-ish fruity, apple peel, unripe harsh apples, flowers, minerals, bark, grass, leafs, alcohol. Medium to longlasting bitterness, harsh sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Not my cup of coffee.

Pure excellence in a bottle One of the best apple cider I have tried Mellow balanced sweetness and a lovely apple flavor Not destroyed by a dominant yeast profile [Bottle – bought at The Cidery]

Bottle, 75cl. It's a clear dark golden colored cider, still and headless, except a few bubbles from the pour. The aroma has a very light funk, with notes of mushroom and earth, but mostly it's well ripened apples, in a generic way. Some alcohol and hints of grass too. It's full-bodied, lightly warming and flat on the palate, with a suitable sweetness level. Still, there's some tartness going on. Ripe apple, some apple jam and a light touch of apple pie, including a buttery pie shell, vague hints of grass and even some leathery funk in the flavor. Long ripe finish with a tad much apple pie and apple jam, which makes it feels less fresh and refreshing than I'd like. At least if drunk without any food. Anyway, it's a fine cider that I wouldn't shy away from drinking again. 220313
