We've brewed up a big boozy stout with a bit of a departure from our usual M/O, we've left out the pastry element to please the real stout drinkers out there! A luxuriously dark and roasty malt bill, mixed with a generous helping of Cacao Nibs and Single Origin Coffee from El Salvador (but roasted right here in Durham by our friends at Fika). The result is a smooth, oily, indulgent stout for dark beer and coffee fans alike!

Can. It's dark brown in the glass, almost black, with a small tan head. Coffee, roasted malts, some alcohol and licorice and a touch of dark chocolate in the aroma. It's full bodied and smooth on the palate, lightly warming, with a nice bitterness. The flavor too is on the coffee side, with roasted malts, hints of burnt malts and licorice, some dark chocolate and a touch of alcohol. Lasting finish with lots of coffee and roasted malts. Quite delicious this one. 211223

Can from Hop Shop, Aberdeen. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is coffee, smoke, dark chocolate, raisin, liquorice toffee. Taste is smoke, chocolate pudding, Turkish coffee, raisin, cocoa. Smoky sweet drier than Jack Dee's wit finish. Yum!
