On tap at the brewpub. It's a clear deep golden colored beer with a dense finger-thick off-white head. The aroma has caramel and generic fruityness, hints of dried fruits and grass, with hay and a good dash of pale malts. It's quite dry on the palate, full-bodied and smooth, with a light alcohol warmth and a bit low bitterness level. Pale malts and hay in the back of the flavor, with quite a lot of grass and pine cones up front. Some caramel and generic fruityness. Lasting finish. A bit too much on the grassy side this one, else it's sure a decent pale bock. 191004

Brix Brygghus 041019. Deep golden color with a white head. Aroma is alcohol, caramel. Flavor is alcohol, caramel, hop, fruit, malt, grain, bread, spices. OK beer.
