Flat, clear golden color. Aroma is slightly sweet sour-ish toasted, honey, nuts, caramel, alcohol, minerals, hints of vanilla and citrus. Taste is sweet toasted, caramel, honey, nuts, citrus, minerals, alcohol, hints of citrus and spices. Light mouthfeel. Fair enough.

YG 160923. Golden color with no head. Aroma is honey, vanilla, caramel. Flavor is honey, caramel, vanilla, alcohol, flower, citrus. Nice mead.

Bottle. A clear one, pouring lighlty oily. Deep golden, still and headless. The aroma is honey driven, though with a caramel touch and a very light flower hint. Vanilla too. It's full-bodied and very lightly warming, still, oily and sweet on the palate, with a honey driven flavor. Caramel, soft cream caramel candy, flowers, lemon notes and vanilla too. Long finish. Sure, it's a nice mead, but a bit too much pure honey driven for me, lacking a bit on depth and richness. 230915
