Small bubbly shortlasting head, clear light golden color. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, apple cores, alcohol, flowers, leafs, apple peel, grass, yellow apples, minerals, sake yeast. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, apple cores, sour apples, flowers, hay, grass, minerals, alcohol, leafs, dried apples, citrus, hints of yellow apples. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Nice. If I didn't know better, I'd have sworn this was made using sake yeast...

Kumlefjorden Juleølsmaking 2022. Pale golden-yellow color with no head. Aroma is apple, sugar, grass, cellar notes. Flavor is apple, sugar, grass, cellar notes, alcohol. Nice cider.

Bottle, 75cl. A clear pale yellow-golden cider, still and headless. Fresh apple, some pear notes, grass and a touch of cellar in the aroma. It's medium bodied and lightly warming, with a very gentle carbonation. Fresh apples, grass and some cellar and pear notes in the flavor. Medium length finish. Straightforward and easy drinkable, but a bit dull. Hides the alcohol dangerously well. 221126
