Bottle, 75cl corked, at Jæren Ølfestival pre-tasting. 2020 vintage. It’s rather carbonated, producing a huge white head. Some white bubbles and a minimal sized white head. The aroma is apple driven, with apple peal, leathery, funky notes and some lemon notes. It’s full-bodied, rather effervescent and quite sour on the palate, with an apple driven flavor. Apple cores, leaves, grass and some funk too. Quite delicious this one, straight forward, but too effervescent. 220812

Big bubbly shortlasting head, slightly cloudy. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, sour apples, apple peel, grass, apple cores, sorrel, alcohol, bark, unripe apples. Taste is dry sour-ish fruity, sour apples, sorrel, apple peel, alcohol, apple cores, grass, unripe apples, citrus acid, oak. Medium bitterness, dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Fair enough, kind of raw and unbalanced.
