Bottle, courtesy of Cunningham. #213/264. A black one, or dark, dark brown, with a dense, finger-thick dark beige head. Lacing. The aroma has a pleasant touch of the booze, with roasted malts, dark dried fruit and some dark chocolate. Hints of oak and raisin. Brown sugar. It's full-bodied and softly carbonated, with a pleasant blend of sweetness and bitterness. Mostly sweetness though. Roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate, dark dried fruit and a touch of brown sugar and a spiced hint. Gentle but pleasant boozyness. Lasting finish. A pleasant one indeed, and it has sure aged well too. 240717

Black color with a fine beige head that last a long time. Good lacing on the glass. Toffee, chocolate and bourbon in the nose. Quite inviting. A bit to rich carbonation that makes it feel a bit thin. Well it aint thin. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Complex and fine flavor, but the alcohol comes out a bit to strong in this one. Flavor ingrediens are toffee, coffee, licorice and bourbon. A nice winter warmer this one.
