Bottle, at the brewpub. Cellared for some years, can't remember how many. Tasted side-by-side with the non-cellared mead wort version. It's dark brown to black in the glass, with a small tan head. The aroma is burnt and roasted, with a touch of licorice. Some forest notes too. Vanilla and a herbal hint, angelica perhaps. It's full-bodied and quite mellow. A bit low on carbonation, but it suits the beer. Semi-sweet, with some bitterness. Roasted and burnt malts, some oxidation hints. Less spiced or herbal flavor, and a mellow alcohol touch. Lasting finish. Quite delicious this one. Bears the age well too. 240615

Natadal 150624. Black color with a tan head. Aroma is burnt, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, vanilla. Flavor is vanilla, roasted malt, licorice, coffee. Nice beer.
