? ... wat beperkt... niet geheel in balans... rozijn fruitigheid, iets van rode wijn.... matige body, dun, gaat wel, niet bijzonder --- Beer merged from original tick of B.O.C.K Oloroso on 23 May 2018 at 15:30 - Score: 6

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Thompson. Hazy dark red to red-brown color, small to average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, sweet, wood, a hint of liquor. Decent body, decent carbonation. No idea why but I quite like it.

Bottle @ home @ weekly tasting. Brown colour with a medium sized beige head. Smells sweet, alcohol, iron, rust and too much annoying esters (shoutout naar m’n broeders dEnk, Joes, Maakun, Erickok en de rest). Tastes sweet, malty, slightly chocolate, slightly cherrypeel, slightly wood. Taste isn’t too bad. Medium to full body, soft carbo.

Bottle from het biermoment, BB 12-2016, large sample, served in a snifter. Slight hazy dark brown color, short frothy light brown head. Aroma of caramel malt, slight raisin, red wine, bit marzipan, bit leafy and woody, sweet, spicy, slight metallic from the yeast. Quite sweet belgian double like in taste, but with a slight sourish, red wine note. Spicy and winey, thats what are the two main components. Soft to medium carbonation, medium body. Ok stuff.
