Big light brown fizzy shortlasting head, deep dark pour. Aroma is sweet boozy, dark sugar, old rope, bark, bourbon, dark malts, oak, chocolate, vanilla, raisins, nuts, toffee. Taste is sweet sour-ish boozy, dark sugar, vanilla, bourbon, raisins, old rope, fruit stones, dark malts, toffee, bark, cough syrup. Medium to longlasting bitterness, sweet sour-ish boozy mouthfeel. Nice.

Bottle from Etre Gourmet. Color: Almost black, thin brown head. Aroma: Sweetish but not too sweet, liquorice, dark chocolate, earthy, roasted malt. Taste: Bourbon, vanilla, boozy, liquorice, dark chocolate, molasses, earthy, roasted malt. Full body, low carbonation. Over medium sweet, moderate bitterness. Warming mouthfeel. Warming slow sipper, ideal on this hottest evening so far this summer over here in The Netherlands. ;) Very nice.

Svart. Luftig skumring med litt farge. Aroma av lakris & kaffe. Hint av whisky. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken vanilje, nøtter & røstet malt. Kakao i avslutninga. Nesten ikke bitterhet. God dessert!.

I am not a fan of this bourbon bombed beers. But this on worked fine. Black pour and a fine beige layer on top Pleasant intensity in the aroma. Not to much bourbon Decent sweetness and a fine mellow carbonation level Dark malt, roast, fruity, vinous, oak, mild bourbon and some chocolate in the flavor [Bottle from Yngwie]

Bottle. A black one with a small dark beige head. The aroma has lots of chocolate, with alcohol, coffee, licorice, oak, brown sugar, wood and soy sauce. It's full bodied and lightly warming, silky and softly carbonated. Sweet, with a decent bitterness. Roasted malts, brown sugar, licorice, soy sauce, chocolate and some coffee in the flavor. Wood too.
