Bottle, courtesy of the brewer. An almost clear chestnut colored beer with a small, dense light beige head. Some lacing. Pleasant smoke aroma, meaty, ham, wood notes, with caramel and nut notes. A light touch of dark dried fruit too. It's medium bodied and mostly on the dry side, gently carbonated and with a pleasant bitterness level. Lightly smoked flavor too, ham-like, with caramel, dried fruit and some roasted notes. Medium length finish. A gentle but really pleasant and easy drinkable beer. 240621
