Bottle, at the brewpub. A more or less clear one, brown, with a dense off-white head leaving lacing. The aroma has caramel and toffee, some dark dried fruit and a light yeasty hint. Some bread and nuts, and a hint of alcohol. It's semi dry on the palate, lightly warming and pleasantly carbonated, with a decent bitterness. Caramel, bread crust and a yeasty hint in the flavor. Some nuts and dark dried fruit. Lasting finish. Hides the alcohol very well, and it's quite decent too. 240615
