Can 440ml @ Sommerhuset. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and herbal. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long chocolate, cocoa, caramel and roasted malt finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Can. An almost black one, topped by a small, dense dark beige head. Gentle aroma, roasted malts, coffee, toffee, a spiced, piney hint and a vague touch of licorice. It's medium to full bodied, softly carbonated, sweet yet dry, and with a touch of alcohol warmth. The flavor has a bit more licorice, else it's the same roasted malts, coffee and dark chocolate. Some spiced notes and toffee, and a good bitterness. Medium length finish. A nice one indeed, but I'd really like a bit more body. 240502
