YG 210425. Ruby color with a very small pinkish head. Aroma apple, malt, funk, lemon, raspberries,cherries. Flavor is apple, malt, funk, lemon, raspberries, cherries, almond.

Bottle, 75cl corked. A crystal clear ruby colored beer wtih a minimal sized pink head. Just some bubbles actually. The aroma is deliciously funky, with a wonderful cherry addition. Notes of raspberry, almond pit and some lemon juice. Barnyardish, leathery funk. It's tart on the palate, medium- to full-bodied, lightly acidic, and softly carbonated. Cherry driven flavor with almond notes, barnyard, hay and lemon hints, and a touch of raspberry. There's also a fruity, berryish touch that I do not reckognize, both in aroma and flavor. Might be the haskap for all I know. Lasting finish. A very fine drink indeed. Would be interesting to see a tad more oak impact though, can't really say I detect any oak aroma or flavor, nor much tannins. 240421
