Apollon Cuvée

200ml, draught as Apollons Tyttebærcuvée, sample tray at Apollon Tønsberg. Scattered lacing from a stable white head, unclear pale reddish body. Moderate smell of berry skins and berries. Taste of cranberries added by fruity hops. Rounded mid-dry berry-fruits to the finish. Mouthfilling. Fair enough.(Tønsberg, 15.08.2024).

Pours hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, cranberry, caramel, tartness, lingonberry and phenolic. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter and light sour with a long lingonberry and caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft

240224. Red-orange color with pinkish bubbles. Aroma is fruit.berries, sourness. Flavor is fruit, berries, sourness, lingonberries, funk, lemon. Nice beer.

A hazy red beer with orangey, pinkish notes. Some white bubbles on top. Fruity nose with some berries. A touch of rubber too, just like expected from a lingonberry beer. Faintly funky lemony. It's lightly sourish on the palate, nicely carbonated, with a medium body. Berry flavor with some rubbery notes. Some lemon and acidity and a generic fruityness. Long finish. A bit too gentle this one, but nice and refreshing. 240224

From tap at Apollon Platebar with Magne and Kjartan 23.06.21. Almost clear orange. Some white head. Sour aroma and dry taste of lambic, sour berries, cowberries and so on.
