Can from Eltham Wines. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is cappuccino, treacle toffee, dark chocolate, raisin, butterscotch, nuts. Taste is dark chocolate, profiteroles, liquorice toffee, raisin, butterscotch, vanilla, definitely a bit of pecan action. Boozy warming alcohol infusion. Good stuff.

Keg at BD Clerkenwell, 17/08/22. Black with a tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is coffee bean, chocolate melt, pecan nuts, dark malts, gentle booze. Taste comprises chocolate donut, brown sugar melt, toffee, molasses, mellow roast, light coffee. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of rising alcohol. Tidy pastry affair ... good bitter sweet balance.

Dark brown, almost black pour with a small head on top. The name-giving aromas and tastes are all there (Dark Chocolate With Candied Pecans And Coffee Glaze) plus some roasted coffee, cocoa, toffee and a hint of salt in the aftertaste. ABV carries the taste nicely. Very good stuff.

Keg at Brewdog Nottingham. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a thin off white/beige head on top. Sweet, chocolate, coffee, fudge taste and aroma. A rich, elegant imperial stout, very nice indeed.
