We are turning 5, so we made made ourselves a Birthday Cake! This chocolate fudge cake milk stout is brewed with chocolate, vanilla and lactose to make a decadent, creamy, birthday treat. It’s “Udderly” delicious.

440ml can from The Rook, Brighton. Poured almost black in colour with a mostly lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, light creamy lactose. The flavour is moderate sweet and liquorice bitter, with a smooth, somewhat rich, roasty, earthy, chocolate, light oily, light lactose, light vanilla, liquorice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Can from Beer Dad UK. Dark brown body with a thin beige head. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of ash and toffee. Flavour of roasted malt and tonka bean. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Smooth and roasted.
