Cask at Blackheart with Sarah. Pours a clear amber with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has note of earthy grass and pine hops with a hint of earthy bread underlying. Flavor begins with earthy grass and citrus with a backing earthy grain note.

On cask @ Craft Beer Co. London. A light blurry one, packed with tiny particles and a small bubbly off-white head. The aroma is not extreme, but there is definitely some american hops going on here. Peaches and citrus with some malts in the background. Nice. It's near flat on the carbonation and it has a light slick to sticky texture. Good hoppy bitterness here, and it's quite malty-sweet. Citrus, bitter zesty grapefruits, tomatoes and some leather. A really solid one! 21.07.2012

Cask at the Southampton Arms, Kentish Town - 08/05/12. Amber gold with a white head. Citrus hops, caramel malt on the nose. Caramel malt backbone, a little citrus, hops less prominent than the nose. Medium body but a little too sticky/alcohol in the finish. Was expecting more.

Cask @ The Caley, Edinburgh 100712
Orangey amber, bubbly head, bit of lacing
Aroma - perfumy fruity hops, unusual, quite soft aroma, golden sweet malt backbone
Taste - golden caramel malts, orange rind, zesty, perfumy hops, slight hint of rubber, fairly malty, orangey malts
Palate - soft carb, medium body, bit gloopy malts. Finish - bitter hops, dry, lingering bitter hop.
Overall - Pretty good APA but not one of the best Iโ€™ve had

Pours clear golden orange with a bubbly head. Aroma of citrusy hops, lemon, malts, caramel and exotic fruits. Taste is hoppy with some exotic fruits, lemon, citrus and caramel malts. Finish is slightly sweet and hoppy with some fruits and lemony notes. Tasty, refreshing real ale.

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, mild honey and nectar with some quite dry grassy notes as well. Flavour is wooden, rather sweet nectary and fruity hops along with a big grassy bitter bite. Pleasant and very nicely balanced.

Cask, handpump at The Evening Star, Brighton,Saturday 5th May 2012 Iโ€™ve had this before at Peter Fowlerโ€™s, Shoulder of Mutton, Wantage, Oxon but clearly never got around to rating it, something I tend to do more & more often these days. Pours mid amber with a white head. Sweet initially but with a good hoppy punch. Nice fruity tang but really lovely beer tasting very much as the style suggest, wonderful fresh juicy zingy hops. Great beer. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
