Cask at the Pup & Duckling, Solihull. Poured a clear yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is yeasty, herbal. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a yeasty, herbal, floral, woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Nothing like the earlier ratings suggest. Hopefully they served me the right beer!

Cask at the Bury St. Edmunds Beer Festival with Grumbo and ITFCDan. Aroma is grainy, malty, cereal, buttery, biscuit and caramel. Very sweet and oily texture. Light carbonation and decent body.

22/8/2024. Cask at the 32nd East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival. Pours clear pale amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, grainy, sweet fruits, butter, caramel. Quite heavy sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slightly oily, soft carbonation. A little on the sweet side but quite liked it.
