Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. My first beer from this brewery. Misted gold with small white head and minor lacing. This had a gooseberry, lemon, light grassiness and a cracker malt with an edge of earthiness. Medium bodied and a touch sticky. Not sure if I've ever had a cask lager before. It had more flavour than an average lager but I won't be rushing for another. The balance didn't feel quite right on this one and there is a lack of crispness.

Cask at the Strugglers Inn, Lincoln. Clear golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are moot, slight earthy and citrus. Moderately sweet. Light body.
