Six types of speciality grain make up the grist of this refreshingly complex, oxymoron-defying Pale Stout. Contrary to common knowledge, stouts were not always necessarily black in colour and belonging to the family of porter. Grainiac has the fullness and bitter finish you expect from a stout while pouring a hazy, glowing orange colour that forgoes expectation.
Soft peach and apricot top notes give way to a delicate malt sweetness, followed by oats, rye and spelt along fruity esters and a velvet-like mouthfeel.
Brewed with barley malt, oat malt, rye malt, spelt malt, wheat malts and maize.
Extensively boiled to drive off any hop flavours distracting from your enjoyment.

Bottle at home from De Bierkonig, 21st April 18. Pours viscous pale straw orange. Aroma is malt, citrus. Texture is really strange like pear purée drink, taste is pleasant, malt, roasty, hoppy, a like odd, but good.
