Bottle, gift from Pam. Black body with a beige head that holds well. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of coffee and roasted malt. Flavour of Marmite, earth and roasted malt. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A rich and earthy porter. Very enjoyable. I’d love to try an imperial version of this.

Tried at the Nottingham Beer Festival 2023. Off black colour with a tan head. Roasted burnt coffee. light bitter. medium body.

cask blind at indie beer scot... dark black.. no head.. soft roast dark chocolate roast malts nose... little thin.. soft nutty chocolate
