Cask at the tiny tavern, Lincoln. Of black colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are malty and chocolate sweet. Medium body.

11/3/2023. Cask at the 2023 Coventry Beer Festival. Pours black with a small bubbly/frothy beige head. Aroma of liquorice, roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, burnt notes and a yeasty cheesy edge. Light sweetness, quite heavy bitterness. Medium body, oily, average carbonation.

Cask @ Coventry Beer Festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, chocolate, coffee and hops. Nice roasty finish.

Cask at EBF Summer 22. Aroma combines malty chocolate and sour berries. Darkest brown. Frothy beige head. Medium bitter. Charcoal and espresso. Berry sour edge. Light-medium bodied. Thin cream. Average prickly carbonation. Long dry finish. Nice.

Gravity dispense at The Royston, Broadstairs, 17/09/21. Black with a thin tan cap. Nose is dark malts, toffee, liquorice, mellow roast, cocoa bean. Taste comprises roast malts, big liquorice vein, treacle toffee, dried fruits, bitter aspects, chocolate dusting. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Solid full flavoured stout.
