23/8/2023. Cask at the 44th Peterborough Beer Festival. Pours clear very dark brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, lightly roasted, toffee, golden syrup, biscuit. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily, soft carbonation. Nicely done. Original review text: 24/8/2023. Cask at the 31st East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly off-white to beige head. Aroma of toffee, biscuit, malt, hint of coconut, dried fruits. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium to full body, very soft carbonation. Very nice.

Cask at the Peterborough Beer Festival 2023. Deep ruby colour with a white head. Carmel sweet slight fruity. Rich full body, not really boozy.
