Bottle 0,33ltr: Black colored brew with an dry bitter taste and some fine hints of chocolate. Typical Rotterdam attitude, decent and no joking.

--- Beer merged from original tick of Stout - Rotterdams Donker on 18 May 2018 at 10:38 - Score: 6

Bottle from het Biermoment, BB Jan 2016, large sample. Clear dark brown color, medium frothy brown head. Aroma of roast and dark bread together with some perfumy and flowery hop. Lots of bittery roast in taste, coffee, tar, some licorice, bit piney bitterness. Dry, creamy. Good dry stout actually.

Bottle @ home. Dark brown color, small off-white to beige head that diminishes quickly. Aroma is malts, dark malts, lightly sweetish. Taste malts, dark malts, caramel, a hint of sugar, a distant hint of chocolate, lightly bitter in the finish. Average body and carbonation. Nice easy drinkable dark beer, but if this is truly a stout is must be the lightest one I’ve ever tried. Not bad though.
