Bottle split at Tilt, Bingo-Cotts Convention, Thanks to Mark 08/07/23. Murky mahogany brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is stewed fruits, modest barrel, spice, herb, dried fruit esters. Taste comprises toffee, dark malts, dates, oak, mellow rye. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a spike of alcohol. It's fine but somewhat stuck in 3rd gear and lacking complexity.

Tried at the Not at Cotteridge share 2023 at Tilt Birmingham. Off black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste malty and boozy sweet. Rich body.

Bottle at the cotteridge convention bottle share. A hazed murky brown coloured pour with a beige head. Aroma is semi sweet toffee, apple, Warming alcohol. Toffee. Palate is semi sweet oily, light tang, moderate carbonation. Flavour is composed of, semi sweet, nutty toffee, green apple, dried fruits, bitter alcohol.

Bottle ordered from the brewery. Aroma has a sourness over a rich base. Murky brown. Thick foamy lively tan head soon disappears. Sweet. Caramel and dough. Sour edge. Rye. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Long finish. Slips down.
