Pint in my local for the quiz night. We came third, which was a good result. Would have done better but we got overconfident on the double of loss round. Anyway, should have had this first and being picky it did need to be colder than the correct cellar temperature it should have been served at. Really light on all counts and.would be perfect in a pub garden on a summer day.

[Cask at the Nags Head, Reading.] A very pale amber pour with a loose white head; tropical fruit aroma; rather thin in the mouth with some pale malts and stone fruit; then a dry finish. Crisp and refreshing.

Hand pulled half pint at the Crown Inn, Oakengates on 30th May 2025. Light golden body, white crust. Not bad at all for a 3.4% beer. Subtle citrus notes in the nose and taste, mild malty sweetness for a base.
